What is the Healthcare Brain?

THE PRODUCT

The Healthcare Brain is a subscription knowledge product: a canonical, typed model of US healthcare — regulations, workflows, payers, populations — plus a private overlay that captures your institution's own knowledge. A factory keeps both current; read paths make them usable by every platform, agent, and analyst you run. The three platforms above are its flagship consumers.

Questions, answered

What buyers ask first.

What is Genzeon Platforms?

Genzeon Platforms is the agentic AI decision infrastructure for healthcare. It comprises three production platforms — HIP One for prior authorization and utilization management, PES One for patient and member engagement, and CPS One for privacy and AI governance. HIP One and PES One run on Aether One, a patent-protected agent architecture. Genzeon Platforms is in production with payers, providers, and government health programs today.

Is Genzeon Platforms participating in the CMS WISeR Model?

Yes. Genzeon Platforms is one of six commercially available PA platforms processing Medicare FFS prior authorizations under the CMS WISeR Model. It is the only WISeR participant available across all deployment environments (sovereign, government cloud, commercial cloud, on premises) and every consumption requirement (full platform, outcome-based, or individual agents). Genzeon Platforms is working with Novitas Solutions in the New Jersey market and went live January 2026.

What deployment options does Genzeon Platforms support?

Genzeon Platforms can be deployed in four shapes: sovereign (on customer infrastructure with Knowledge Containment Architecture), government cloud (FedRAMP-aligned, ATO-ready), commercial cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and on-premises. The same code path supports all four targets — there is no cloud-only shortcut.

Can I buy individual agents instead of the full platform?

Yes. Genzeon Platforms supports five buying options: license the Healthcare Brain for your organization; buy HIP One, PES One, or CPS One as a complete SaaS platform (Marketplace-transactable Starter; enterprise tiers by private offer); buy individual agents on marketplaces (from $100K per agent per year); buy outcomes as Business Process as a Service, risk-shared and performance-based; or have Healthcare FDEs build custom agentic AI on the Brain. Agents live on Microsoft Azure Marketplace include the HIP One Medical Necessity Agent, the HIP One Prior Auth Eligibility and Pre-Screen Agent, and the HIP One Summarization Agent.

What is Aether One?

Aether One is the patent-protected agentic AI substrate underneath HIP One and PES One. It is not a single LLM wrapper — it is an orchestration and rule-grounded execution layer with deterministic guardrails, agent-level tools, and audit-grade traceability. The platform-spanning agent architecture is protected by 12 patents filed and more in preparation.

Does CPS One use AI?

Most of CPS One uses no AI by design. The core privacy operations modules — incident management, breach notification, BAA tracking, disclosure accounting, policy enforcement, AI Readiness, and AI Risk Assessment — run on deterministic, rule-based workflows. The CPS Insights reporting module is the single exception; it uses Aether One for analytical pattern detection across aggregated reporting data only. PHI is never used for AI training. This scoping is contractual and architectural.

What is the CMS-0057-F deadline?

CMS-0057-F mandates electronic prior authorization via FHIR APIs for impacted payers (Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, CHIP, QHP issuers on FFEs) by January 1, 2027. Public reporting of PA metrics began March 31, 2026. HIP One supports the full Da Vinci FHIR PA suite (CRD, DTR, PAS) production-ready today.

Who is Genzeon Corporation?

Genzeon Corporation is a healthcare AI and automation company headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania. Genzeon Platforms is the platforms business of Genzeon Corporation, with its own leadership, engineering team, P&L, and patent portfolio. The platforms business has filed 12 patents covering the methodology layer of healthcare AI.

What is a healthcare AI agent?

A healthcare AI agent is an autonomous software entity capable of clinical reasoning and task execution. Within the Genzeon Platforms ecosystem, these agents are powered by the Healthcare Brain to handle complex medical reviews and administrative workflows with human-level accuracy at machine speed.

How fast can AI complete a clinical review?

On the CMS WISeR Innovation Model in Q1 2026, HIP One delivered sub-3-minute median decision latency on the auto-affirm path across 12,609 prior authorization cases — at 100% compliance with the federal three-day turnaround standard, well inside CMS-0057-F's 7-day standard and 72-hour expedited PA decision windows. By April 2026, sub-1-day turnaround on 90% of standard cases. These figures are drawn from operational logs, not benchmark estimates.

What are the components of the Genzeon Healthcare Brain?

The Healthcare Brain is comprised of three specialized platforms: HIP One — the Reasoning Lobe for clinical decisioning (prior authorization, utilization management, claim review); PES One — the Engagement Lobe for patient and member interactions; and CPS One — the Prefrontal Cortex for governance, privacy, and AI-policy enforcement. All three run on Aether One, the patent-protected agentic substrate. 12 patents filed.

Is the Healthcare Brain secure and compliant?

The Healthcare Brain is operated under ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and HIPAA controls, with zero ONC fines on record across 40+ enterprise clients in regulated industries. CPS One — the Prefrontal Cortex — sits alongside the Reasoning and Engagement lobes as the governance counterweight, enforcing privacy lifecycle, AI Readiness Assessments, AI Risk Assessments, and continuous policy enforcement on every action the platform takes.

What is the difference between an LLM and the Healthcare Brain?

A standard LLM predicts text. The Healthcare Brain performs structured clinical reasoning. Unlike a general-purpose model, the Healthcare Brain uses specialized agents with deterministic guardrails and per-criterion citation chains, with every adverse determination requiring human clinician sign-off — ensuring patient safety, audit-grade traceability, and CMS-0057-F regulatory compliance.
